When boarding a horse at a horse stable facility, it is easy to get tangled up in stories about others and other barns.  And that's okay to share information, but, beware of barn gossip that is negative and could be hurtful to another because it may not be true!

Be cautious when believing everything you hear from others, as people tend to embellish stories as they are passed along.

If you are not sure of something you heard, take it with a grain of salt that it may have started as a true story and then got blown out of proportion.  You are receivng the embelished version.

Shared information is a wonderful way of learning, but it is important to distinguish if the information you are getting is coming from a reputable source.

Gossip has it's place in the horse world, but only if it is friendly and truthful.

Post your experiences with barn gossip.
